Jak is serial entrepreneur who has worked closely with the largest brands in the world. He founded the textile and manufacturing company, Lay Tex, in 1994 grew it to $100 million revenue before selling it in 2009.
As a tech investor, advisor and operator Jak has been involved in multiple startups that resulted in the foundation of Shopbeam.
Javier de la Peña
Javier holds a Masters degree from Georgetown and a bachelors degree from LSE. Javier has served as Google and eBay fellows in Belgium and Washington DC.
Previously, he spent some years working for the Spanish Government in China. Prior living in Asia, he consulted for KPMG Advisory in London and worked as an investment banker with Santander in London, Mexico and Venezuela.
Jimmy brings over 25 years of experience in tech startups to his role at Shopbeam as SVP Business Development. He was founding CMO of MagicJack LP. MagicJack captured over 10 million costumers in the first 36 months after launch and was acquired by VocalTec in 2010.
Prior to MagicJack, Jimmy was the founding SVP of Global Sales and Marketing at Metromedia Fiber Networks. He was instrumental in the company's successful IPO and merger with Abovenet Communications.
